Reports are coming in of a logging truck crash on Takitmu Drive.

A caller to the 0800 SUNLIVE news hotline says a "logging truck has just rear-ended a ute and trailer on Takitimu Drive near the Waihi Road on ramp heading to port." 

"Traffic still flowing freely but parties are on the shoulder stopped."

People are being asked to drive with caution in the area.
