State Highway 35 between Opotiki and Te Araroa has reopened on Saturday morning following a crash overnight.

Police responded to a one vehicle crash on SH35, Opotiki, around 12.45am.

"The vehicle collided with the barrier of the bridge, however no injuries," says a police spokesperson. 

"The road was closed for a time but appears clear now."
