Police are responding to a collision where a vehicle has collided with a person on Bethlehem Road just before 12:45pm, says a police spokesperson. 

"Hato Hone St John received a call at 12.41pm about an incident on Bethlehem Road, Bethlehem," says a Hato Hone St John spokesperson.

"We responded with one ambulance, which took one patient in moderate condition to Tauranga Hospital."

The police spokesperson says there are no road closures or any blockages.
