JONES Matthew Richard Langdon 

(Dr of Philosophy, Marine Biologist)

After a long battle with cancer, Matthew passed away peacefully at Waipuna Hospice Tauranga, surrounded by the love of his family; aged 57 years.

Dearly loved son of Sue and Dr Terry Jones (Papamoa).  Brother of Nicola and Chris, and brother-in-law of Nicole and Matthew.   Coolest Uncle Matthew of Charlie, Isobel, Laura, and Lucy.

Matthews family wish to sincerely thank GP Dr Wahid, St John Ambulance, the Oncology Dept at Tauranga Hospital, and the wonderful staff at Waipuna Hospice for their loving care of Matthew.

A Service to celebrate Matthew's life will be held in Elliotts Chapel on Cameron, 414 Cameron Road, Tauranga on Friday the 12th of July at 11:00am, followed by private cremation.  All communication to the Jones Family, C/- Elliotts Funerals, 25 Ninth Avenue, Tauranga.
