Tauranga residents will get the chance to relive the 1970s and 1980s when international superstars Boy George, Little River Band (50th Anniversary Tour), Bonnie Tyler and Starship featuring Mickey Thomas come to the city in summer.

These iconic artists will perform in Tauranga on January 18 as part of Timeless Summer Tour 2025, which is a new summer concert series bringing legendary musicians from around the world to five cities in New Zealand.

Timeless Summer Tour will also be held in Christchurch, Napier, New Plymouth and Auckland.

Tauranga promoter Glenn Meikle says Timeless Summer Tour will be an ideal summer’s day out for all attendees.

The event is for those aged 18-plus, and Glenn says the show will be an enjoyable experience for those who enjoy quality music, a classic summer day in the Bay and a relaxed atmosphere.

“Artists will perform full sets and we’ve made sure there is good break time in between sets,” says Glenn.
