Tauranga’s Mercury Baypark will be the epicentre of cheer and excitement today from 9am - 7.30pm, with the highly anticipated ‘Battle in the Bay’ cheerleading competition. There are 65 dynamic teams from across New Zealand set to showcase their skills today.

Johnson Reserve Care group are holding their annual planting day today at the corner of Welcome Bay Rd and James Cook Drive, from 10am. Those keen to help need to bring gloves, strong footwear, water, a snack and a spade if they have one handy.
