Head along to Nicholson Field on the corner of Cameron Road and 15th Avenue to cheer on Tauranga Boys' College as they take on the Rotorua Boys' First XV team. Kick-off is at 12pm kick-off. This is a crucial match, as the winners will take on Hamilton Boys' to represent the Chiefs at the national Top Four play-offs in September.

Ōtūmoetai College junior art classes are holding an exhibition at The People's Gallery - Toi ka rere from August 3 -24 from 10am - 3pm each day.

The showcased pieces encompass a variety of mediums, including current drawings, paintings, and sculptures crafted by Year 9 and Year 10 students from Otūmoetai College. On weekends, each student will take turns being ambassadors in the gallery, taking responsibility for their artwork and engaging with the general public.

The 2024 NZ Kukkiwon Cup tournament is being held at Mercury Baypark today. This tournament is open to all martial artists, coaches and officials. For more information click here
