Windows smashed in Tauranga burglary

Police are working to locate those involved in a smash-and-grab-style burglary in Tauranga.

Officers were called to a premise on Cameron Rd, between Second and Third avenues, around 4.30am.

In a statement to SunLive, a police spokesperson said they received reports people were “smashing the glass and stealing a number of products from the store”.

“The offenders left in a stolen vehicle which has since been located on Fourth Avenue,” said police.

“A scene examination and vehicle examination will be conducted, and inquiries to identify and locate those involved continue.”
