Fans can look forward to exciting events as the Bay of Plenty Steamers prepare for their semi-final clash against Canterbury at Tauranga Domain today.

 The Steamers put the sword to the Hawkes Bay Magpies after a thrilling 79th-minute try last weekend, finishing 19-17.

The ticket booth opens at 10am, and gates open at 2.30pm.

A Kiwi classic Kaimai Egg and Spoon race will commence at 3pm, and fans able to register for the Bunnings Tug-of-War and the Brandt Tractor Pull from 2.30 to 3.10 pm 

For those looking for even more competition, the Bunnings Tug-of-War kicks off at 3.20pm, followed by the Brandt Tractor Pull at 3.30 pm, both taking place on the athletics track.
