Emergency services are responding to a vehicle crash on State Highway 2 at Tahawai, near Katikati.

"Police have been notified of a crash at the intersection between SH2 and Rea Road, Tahawai at about 5.20pm today," a police spokesperson said. 

"It appears to be a single vehicle crash."

Police said the two occupants had minor injuries.
