Update, 1pm: There are 56 properties in Te Puke still without power following an unplanned outage at 8.54am.
Powerco reported that a site investigation is underway with field crew attending.
There were previously 91 Te Puke properties without power. The time of restoration for the remaining properties is now estimated to be 4pm.
Power has been restored to the 159 Waihī properties that had a power outage at 6.33am.
In the Coromandel peninsula there are 54 properties in Hikuai affected by an unplanned outage that occurred at 11.52am. A field crew is attending and power is estimated to be restored by 4pm.
Earlier, 9.10am: A power outage is affecting 91 properties in Te Puke.
Powerco reported the unplanned outage at 8.54am.
A field crew is en route, with the restoration time estimated to be 1pm.
There are also 159 properties in Waihī affected by a power cut on Sunday morning.
Powerco advises that a site investigation is underway with a field crew attending the source of the outage.
The power went off at 6.33am in Waihī with restoration time estimated to be 10.45am.
