State Highway 29 in the Lower Kaimai range is now clear following an earlier crash.

Police were alerted to the two-vehicle crash near Ōmanawa River Bridge at around 4.15pm.

The road was partially blocked and there were delays on SH29.

Motorists were advised to avoid the area if possible and expect delays.

NZTA Waka Kotahi said SH29 had been blocked in both directions and motorists were advised to follow the directions of response crew in the area.

A crew from the Greerton fire station also attended.

"There are no reports of injuries," Police said.
