An array of beauties from throughout the country took to the catwalk at the weekend to battle it out for the coveted title of Miss Papamoa.
Auckland resident Berdina Stuart took the top spot beating out seven other entries in the contest at Papamoa Surf Club on Saturday.

The 16-year-old dark haired beauty adorned a floral bikini at the beachside competition held for the second time this year.
First runner up went to 20-year-old Kate Mickleson, from Cambridge, and second runner up was 16-year-old Tyler Crawford, from Mount Maunganui.
The seven other entries were Nikki McAskie, 19, from Morrinsville, Alex Barnao, 20, from Wellington, Tiffany Brown, 16, from Auckland, and Alice Walmsley, 16, from Papamoa.
The Miss Papamoa contest followed the Little Miss Sunshine competition at 3pm where Matua seven-year-old Izla Morris took the crown in first place.
Papamoa's Abbey Holland, 8, was first runner-up and Tauranga's Priya Shiriwastow, 8, was second runner-up.
The Little Miss Sunshine contest was for children aged five to 10-years-old. Miss Papamoa was for women aged 16-years-old and over.
