Glass fragments in some Schweppes drinks are causing the manufacturer to recall the product.

The 330ml clear glass bottle of Schweppes lemonade, tonic water, soda, dry ginger ale and soda lemonade twist are the products affects.

Some Schweppes products are being recalled.

The items being recalled have a best before date between January 10, 2014 and January 30, 2014.

The Ministry for Primary Industries says Coca-Cola Amatil was initiating the recall because of a fault in a small number of glass bottles within the affected batches which may have chipped finishes and glass fragments.
