Dream come true for Kaui

Tauranga Boys' College student Kaui Ririnui, 16 is living his dream by playing touch rugby for New Zealand after being selected for the national under-17 boys development team.
Kaui has played touch for five years and in the peak of the summer season says he either trained or played every day of the week.

'I'm pretty excited about playing touch for New Zealand and meeting a lot of skilled players who will teach me some good techniques,” says Kaui.
His first international game will be against Australia at Nationals in Caloundra, Queensland, September 11-19.
It is Kaui's dream to play for the under-35 Open Men and is well on his way to achieving this goal.
As well as playing for NZ, he plays for Tauranga Boys', 075 Module team, Bay of Plenty, Easy Does It (mixed team) and Tauranga Moana Open Men's Maori.
Having only been selected March 21, he is still looking for a sponsor.
