Nearly 200 people filed into Baycourt to hear Winston Peters speak about the issues in New Zealand.
'The nation of New Zealand is now New Zealand Inc and much of it is for sale - the South Pacific's basement op shop where anything and everything is up for sale – cheap!
'Now, we all like a sale and we all like grabbing a bargain now and then.”
Winston spoke about a number of topical issues including asset sales and the gay marriage bill.
'Selling out New Zealand began in the late 1980s and continued into the 1990s. And Key's Government is back having a good go at it once more.
'It is as if they have decided to use this time in Government to do as much damage as they can to the economic and social fabric of New Zealand.”
Speaking to SunLive after his speech, Winston says a referendum is needed for the gay marriage bill.
'It should be decided by the millions of New Zealanders, not the 121 MPs who come and go all the time.”

SneaKey and Co do not have a mandate to sell off New Zealand State owned assets. Too many under-hand deals, no transparency and bullish behaviour. Winston always tells it like it is.
AHA!!!

and the offer of a free shampoo and set, obviously is loosing its appeal, 200 in his main voting centre!!!, and Winston has never been able to tell the difference between what is, and what isnt.

Winston, when you talk about business then the majority of the bigger businesses are foreign owned. If you spend a large proportion of wages on groceries then a lot of Tulare profits go to Australia. If we weren't so obsessed with housing and invested more in businesses then the country would be better off. Now a lot of small businesses are owned by migrants and a lot deal with cash. How much of that do you think is declared to IRD. There are several issues concerning the health of this nations coffers.
honest man
