Hockey-filled dreams were made reality this afternoon when Bay of Plenty hockey enthusiasts had the chance to meet some of the Black Sticks superstars.
At this afternoons signing session at Bayfair, Tauranga's Sam Charlton, Rose Keddell along with Olivia Merry and Cassandra Reid signed autographs for about 20 fans ahead of the final leg in the Four Nations Tournament in Mount Maunganui this weekend.

Abby Lane, 11, says she was excited to get the players signatures and it was 'pretty cool” to meet her idol Sam Charlton.
'It's because she is from Tauranga and is an attacker.”
Abby, who plays hockey for Omanu Primary School, is heading to the finals on Sunday and firmly believes the Black Sticks will be battling it out for the title once again.
Mother Sandie Hine bought Shanaye , 8, Jada, 10, and Montana Hine, 5, and Amelia Brown, 8, straight from Maungatapu Primary School to line up for the chance to meet the hockey players.
'We wanted to be first in the queue and we hope to go to the game on Sunday.”
The visit is a homecoming of sorts for Sam, 21, and Rose, 19, who hail the Bay of Plenty and are lynchpins in the young side slowly building momentum following placing fourth at last year's Olympic Games in London.
Sam says it is always exciting to come out and meet the fans who idolise the players and play the game themselves.
'It's cool to have some support in our home town and see the girls excited about the game of hockey and coming out to watch.”
Playing in front of the home crowd is something her and Rose are looking forward, especially playing on the newly opened water turf.
'Without the turf it's hard to run these international fixtures. So it's good they finished it in time.”
Rose says after two wins in Hamilton they still cannot underestimate Korea and must put in a polished performance ahead of the finals on Sunday.
'We really need to focus and apply the game plan we set and stick to it.”
The national side, currently sitting third in the world rankings, is hosting Korea, Argentina and the United States in a three leg series held in Whangarei, Hamilton and Tauranga, the first international tournament at the Tauranga Hockey Centre this weekend.
The tournament at the new international standard turf sees New Zealand take on world number eight Korea with Argentina (ranked 2nd) facing the USA (ranked 10th) on the Saturday before the playoffs on Sunday.
The Black Sticks won the first tournament in Whangarei beating Korea 3-0 before drawing with Argentina 2-2 and beating USA 1-0 in Hamilton earlier this week.
