Move over X-Factor – ‘New Zealand's Got Talent' finalist JGeeks is showing they have the ‘Eggs Factor' with a performance in Tauranga this week.
On Thursday, the four ‘metro Maori' entertainers will perform their traditional Maori-style dance routine with a twist to Tauranga fans at ASB Baypark Stadium.

The stop is part of a nationwide tour for Marino Taiatini, Eru Bennet-Paul, Tawaroa Kawana and Jermaine Leef – who have been performing their slapstick, taiaha wielding, hip swinging choreography in Australia, America and Europe during the last few months.
The tour is the second trip throughout the country after finishing in the finals of the reality televsision series ‘NZ's Got Talent' last December.
The boys say it will be a definite night to miss – 'if you're an egg”.
Lead dancer Jermaine says being able to take the group's mash up of Maori and modern choreography and music to the world has been 'awesome”.
'Travelling through Europe and the United States was a new experience for all of us and one which we enjoyed immensely.”
Jermaine says a highlight of the world tour was seeing 3500 screaming Austrians enjoying the performance at the International Body Art Festival – despite not knowing exactly what they were watching.
'They were totally glued to the stage.”
Another thrill was performing in front of 200,000 people at one of the biggest music festivals in the world in Scotland's ‘T In The Park', which Jermaine says was 'simply mind blowing”.
'Now we want to share our next level entertainment ideas with the New Zealand public for another round of madness, music, and dance.”
The performance features a night of music, dance and entertainment from their work, both old and new, that has given them 10 million hits on You Tube and just short of 100,000 fans on Facebook.
Along with catching the attention of many Tauranga fans, JGeeks has also impressed celebrities, including Kayne West.
Already, they've performed for celebrity blogger Perez Hilton, and have taught Prime Minister John Key how to ‘geek'.
They have also been the leading entertainment act at numerous spectacular events, including New Zealand Fashion Week.
JGeeks performed their ‘Tu Meke Tour', with special guest Sonny-Bill-look-a-like Tawaroa Kawana, across the country in 2012, making a final stop at Bethlehem College in February this year.
The 'Eggs Factor” 2013 tour is expected to attract sell-out crowds and the JGeeks are pomising lots of exciting and energised new features in their performances.
Ticket prices change from $25 to $10 (including booking fee) when booking online and $15 at the door. Show starts at 6.30pm.
Those who purchased $25 tickets can bring a friend for free.
