Gull is giving drivers an early Labour Day present today with a 10 cent per litre discount across all fuel grades.

The discount day started at 7am, at participating Gull sites, and runs until midday tomorrow.

General manager Dave Bodger says even bigger savings are possible at Gull's manned sites, when paired with Countdown fuel vouchers.

'We're all about delivering value. Today's discount day, which starts at 7am, allows hard working kiwi motorists to fill up and save before the long weekend.”

Regular petrol will be $1.98 at manned sites and $1.96 at unmanned sites.

Diesel will be $1.37 at manned sites and $1.34 at unmanned sites.

According to the Price Watch website, Z Energy's price for 91 octane is sitting at $2.11, while Caltex has it priced at $2.07.
