A show of intrigue and laughter awaits Tauranga residents tonight as veteran ventriloquist David Strassman takes to the stage with Chuck Wood and Ted E Bare for the second time in 16 years.

David is in Tauranga tonight performing two shows at Baycourt as part of his Careful What You Wish For tour.

This is the second time the ventriloquist has performed in Tauranga. His 7pm show is sold out but tickets are still available for the 9.15pm show.

David visited Sun Media today with Ted for an exclusive video interview about tonight's show.

'It's going to be an incredible show. I love all the characters. In tonight's show Chuck will try to take over my brain and try to convince the other puppets to turn to the dark side.

'We will have three massive video screens, music and other technology on the stage.”

David says his shows tonight have adult themes and are not 'wiggles shows”.
