Police says the driver of the truck is out of the cab and walking around.
Motorists are advised to use diversions or to avoid the area if possible.
Diversions are in place via Rewatu Road, Titoki Road, and Station Road.
Police believe it will take some time to clear the truck and trailer unit and the logs from the road.

I appreciate that everyone is entitled to their own opinion however I am sick of people commenting and blaming trucks as soon as trucks are involved in an accident. I completely agree that a lot of accident are avoidable but we don't even know why this truck rolled yet and we are already blaming the truck driver, could it not be that a car made a dangerous move around the truck and the truck had to take evasive action? I think all these people who comment automatically blaming the truck should go for a ride with a truck driver for a day (unless you have already) and check out some of the idiots that are on our roads then I think a lot of opinions may change. That's just my opinion...

I totally agree. dont think you would need to go far before you saw something that would make you think.. go for a ride in a truck, be a great education.
