SunLive The Kings Favour 2009 Sauvignon Blanc

The Kings Favour 2009 Sauvignon Blanc is a wine with a history, one of four in a series of wines produced by Marisco vineyards.
The fascinating story behind the wine hails from the descendants of the de Marisco family.

Amongst the twisted vines of their ancestry are the families of de Marisco, who in the 12th and 13th centuries inhabited the island of Lundy off the south-west coast of England. This wine, the Kings Favour, honours one of the stories in the series.
The grapes for this wine are from the Waihopai River Vineyard in Marlborough.
