Leaving (R16) is a French romance following Suzanne (the always great Kristin Scott Thomas), a well-to-do married woman and mother in the south of France.

Her idle bourgeois lifestyle is getting her down and she decides to get back into her work as a physiotherapist. Her husband agrees to fix up a consulting room for her in their backyard. When Suzanne meets the Spanish man (Pan's Labyrinth's Sergi Lopez) hired to do the building, their mutual attraction is sudden and violent. Suzanne decides to give up her life and family and live this all-engulfing passion to the fullest.
