Passed away peacefully at Somervale Rest Home on May 16 2014, aged 94. Dearly loved husband of Beth. Much loved father of Anne and Peter, Peter and Maureen, Paul and Gill. Treasured Papa of his 11 grandchildren and great grand-daughters.

A service to celebrate Eddy's life will be held at 1pm on Wednesday May 21 at St Andrew's Presbyterian Church, Dee Street, Mt Maunganui, followed by a private cremation. Special thanks to Dr Andrew Coster, and all the staff at Somervale Rest Home for the excellent care given to Eddy. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate that donations be made to the 'Trustpower Tect Rescue Helicopter – Bay of Plenty.
