Speaker stolen from Noel Leeming

Police investigating the theft of a portable speaking from Noel Leeming are hoping to identify the suspects by releasing CCTV photos.

On Friday, July 4, two people were seen on CCTV cameras taking a portable speaker from the store in Whakatane.


Police are hoping to identify these two men.

Senior Sergeant Yvonne Parker says the suspected were with a group of four men when the two pictured were seen putting the speaker inside their clothing.

'The victims of these thefts and police are very grateful for your calls received previously identifying shop lifting suspects, which has assisted police to recover the stolen property and hold offenders to account.”

Yvonne is asking members of the public to come forward again with any information.
