Bay of Plenty Golf has lost its most experienced interprovincial golfer for this year's tournament.

Ben Taylor, who plays out of the Omokoroa Golf Club, has decided to try his luck in the professional ranks by attending the Australian Q School in December, which means he will miss the Toro Interprovincial Event at Paraparaumu.
Ben was the only member of last year's team who had previous tournament experience being part of the 2008 winning team in Nelson.
