New Zealand's strongest man Colm Woulfe is now Bay of Plenty's strongest man.
Colm, who weighs 155.7kg and 1.95cm tall, won three of the four events, including the 300kg tyre flip – getting eight flips in 22.56 seconds, in the Bay of Plenty Strongest Man competition at the Tauranga &P Show yesterday.

Colm recently set a New Zealand record in the 20kg weight throw for height at 5.6 metres and this week deadlifted 350kg in the gym.
In second was the 2008 New Zealand strongest man winner Jono Macfarlane, who weighed in at 147.2kg.
Jono won the 20kg weight throw over the high bar and had a shot at a New Zealand record of 18'4", just missing the height.
Coming in third was last year's champion Matt Ragg – weighing in a light 127.3kg.
The three men battled it out with seven other competitors in scorching conditions at the Tauranga Racecourse to claim their respective places.
