It looks like it's going to be a fine day in the Bay with plenty of events to keep people occupied.
If you're looking for something to take the kids to after morning sport then head down to Selwyn Ridge Primary School for the school's gala.
An array of activities are planned for the school gala. File photo.
From 11am to 3pm, Selwyn Ridge in Welcome Bay will play host to a bouncy castle, animals, stalls, arts and crafts, food vendors, live entertainment and a monster raffle.
The money raised from today's event will go towards the upgrading the schools senior playground.
Also on today is the Tauranga Home Show at ASB Arena from 10am to 5pm.
The event is described as the Bay's premiere home and lifestyle event with over $35,000 of show prizes. Featuring over 200 exhibits and displays.
Adult $10, children 13 and under free.
