Police are asking for any information that may help them locate a man with connections to the Bay of Plenty.

Toots Inia is wanted by police for breaching his court release conditions.

His photo appeared on crime show Police Ten 7 last night in the hopes someone will know where he is.

The 19-year-old is described as a male Maori, about 5'6, and of medium build.

Police say he has contacts in Hamilton, Ngaruwahia and Whakatane.

People with information about Inia's whereabouts are asked to contact their nearest police station.
