Ngati Ranginui is launching its first official website at Hairini Marae on Friday night.
They are also launching He Kanae Rere, a joint initiative between Ngati Ranginui and Western Bay of Plenty police.
A large number of invited guests are expected to attend Hairini Marae for the launch of its new website.
The initiative is designed to stop and reduce youth offending in the region.
He Kanae Rere is an initiative that will work parallel to the justice system.

Ngati Ranginui's website, www.ranginui.co.nz, goes live on Friday night.
The iwi's chairman, Huikakahu Kawe, says the site is an exciting development.
'We know that communication is key in this world today.”
Huikakahu says the website will also keep Ngati Ranginui's people across the world up-to-date on issues affecting the iwi.
Attendance to the launch is by invitation only.

As a joint initiative with the Police, does this mean the Police are paying for the website?
