One of the best

Greg showed the media in general what sincerity, generosity, warmth and integrity means. One never felt that he was driven by selfish ambition . He had that wonderful ability to ''invite'' himself into our homes simply by being Greg! We have lost a wonderful role model.

A Loss To Us All

As a regular TV news and current affairs viewer all my memories of Greg Boyed are positive. Over the years as the face of NZ media changed in many instances to become “fluff” and tabloid he was one of the old school who never lost sight of what genuine journalism is all about ie integrity, thoroughness and sincerity while at the same time delivering news with a warmth and sincerity that made him popular with both interview subjects and us, the viewing public in homes across the country. Like many others my thoughts go out to his family and colleagues....he will be greatly missed.

Take your wife and kids to Switzerland, and then commit suicide. While that is sad, it is also extremely cruel to the family. is he trying to punish them?
