Kapa haka group Te Whanau a Te Maro will be putting on a performance at the Red Square.
The performance will take place on Thursday from 12 – 12.30pm.
'Te Whanau a Te Maro is the kapa haka group representing Tauranga Intermediate – who came third at the national competition last month,” says a Tauranga City Council spokesperson.
'Tauranga is lucky to celebrate their success with a performance for our community.
'Bring along your lunch and watch Maori culture at its finest, by our own home-grown talent.”

Warmest congratulations to all involved in the wonderful performance at noon today. I have seen a lot of kappa haha in my time and this young group were up there with the best. Thank you so much from a grateful audience member
