Resurfacing work planned for SH2/Takitimu Drive

The works will be taking place overnight.

Motorists who use State Highway 2/Takitumu Drive are being advised to expect delays from May 9 to May 11.

Resurfacing work will be undertaken between the Elizabeth St and the Judea Industrial Estate/Otumoetai/11th ave off ramp.

Waka Kotahi Transport Agency says the works will be taking place from 7pm to 5am each night.

A 50km/h temporary speed limit will be in place.

'One lane will be available each night. Monday, May 10, the Judea Industrial Estate/Otumoetai/11th ave off ramp will be closed between 7pm to 5am.

Detour route for May 10

State Highway 2, then keep right onto Tamatea Arikinui Drive (SH2), then take the off-ramp towards Cambridge Road, then take right onto Cambridge Road, then take right onto State Highway 2 (On-Ramp), then keep left onto Off-Ramp section connecting to Takitimu Drive (SH2), then take left off-ramp towards Waihi Road, then take left onto Korokoromiku Street, then take right onto McCord Avenue, then take right onto Birch Avenue, then take right onto Waihi Bridge (Eleventh Avenue Bridge), detour ends.
