UPDATE 3.12PM: An additional location of interest in Tauranga has been added to the Ministry of Health's list this afternoon.

Midas the car mechanics on Cameron Road is the location in question.

Anyone who was at the premises from 7.45am-08.30am and 10.45am-11.30am on Friday, December 3, is asked to self-monitor for Covid-19 symptoms for 10 days after you were exposed.

'If symptoms develop, get a test and stay at home until you get a negative test result,” says an MOH spokesperson.

This follows the announcement earlier today of five new cases of Covid-19 in Tauranga.

A Tauranga laundromat was also added to the locations of interest earlier today.

EARLIER: A Tauranga laundromat has been added as a new location of interest today.

The Ministry of Health says a Covid positive case visited Tumble Laundromat Tauranga twice on November 30.

The first time was from 3.45pm to 5.15pm and then again from 6.05pm to 7.20pm.

'Self-monitor for Covid-19 symptoms for 10 days after you were exposed,” says an MOH spokesperson.

'If symptoms develop, get a test and stay at home until you get a negative test result.”

The laundromat is an additional location from those announced overnight.

The Warehouse Cameron Road, TenPin Tauranga, Fourteenth Avenue Dairy and Pak'nSave Cameron Road were all added to the Ministry of Health's location of interest in the last 24 hours.

People who were at the Pak'nSave on Tuesday, November 30, from 6.15pm to 8.15pm, Fourteenth Ave Dairy on November 30 from 7pm to 3pm and The Warehouse on November 30 from 5.15pm to 6.30pm are being advised to self-monitor for Covid-19 symptoms for 10 days after they were exposed.
