The parent and baby room at Tauranga Crossing in Tauriko has been identified as a high-risk spot.
Anyone who used the facility between 1.45pm and 2.15pm on Wednesday, December 15 should self-isolate, test immediately and on day five after exposure at this location of interest. Further isolation and testing requirements will be provided by Public Health.

Happy Valley Chinese, also at the Crossing, is listed as a more moderate location of interest. Anyone at the location from 1.30pm to 3pm on Wednesday, December 15 is asked to self-monitor for Covid-19 symptoms for 10 days after exposure.
'If symptoms develop, get a test and stay at home until you get a negative test result,” is the official MOH advice.
The same advice applies for anyone who was at Yoku Sushi Downtown on Friday, December 10 from 3.45pm to 5.15pm or the BP Te Puna on State Highway 2 on Monday, December 13 from 10.30am to 11.45am.
EARLIER: The Tauranga Citizens Club is being treated as a high-risk location of interest as one of two new locations added by the Ministry of Health.
Anyone who was at the club on Friday, December 10 between 12pm and 8pm is being asked to immediately self-isolate and get tested.
Another test is then strongly advised on day five after exposure.
Further isolation and testing requirements will be provided by Public Health.

Briscoes Tauranga on Chapel Street is also being treated as a lower risk location of interest. Anyone at the store on Monday, December 6 is advised to self-monitor for Covid-19 symptoms for 10 days after you exposure.

Yesterday, one person with Covid-19 was confirmed to have died in Tauranga Hospital – the first death outside Auckland since the beginning of the Delta outbreak.
There were a further seven cases reported in Tauranga yesterday.
