Tauranga gym high risk location of interest

Four further locations of interest have been announced by the Ministry of Health on Friday.

The locations include:

  • ED Tauranga Hospital – Outside on Monday 13 December from 12:50 pm 2:20 pm
  • Tauranga Hospital Ground floor Café on Monday 13 December from 2:05 am 3:20 pm
  • New World Gate Pa on Wednesday 15 December from 1:45 pm 2:30 pm
  • McDonald's Cameron Road Tauranga on Tuesday 14 December from 11:15 am 2:00 pm

The Ministry of Health says anyone who has visited any of the above locations should self-monitor for Covid-19 symptoms for 10 days after you were exposed. If symptoms develop, get a test and stay at home until you get a negative test result.

Earlier: The Ministry of Health have released a number of locations of interest in the Tauranga region including one close contact location.

TGA BOX Health & Fitness has been identified as a high risk location.

Those who visited the gym on Thursday, December 09 between 5:15pm - 7pm should self-isolate, test immediately and again on day 5 after being exposed at this location of interest.

Further isolation and testing requirements will be provided by Public Health, says the Ministry of Health.

Other locations of interest announced recently are:

  • Countdown Greerton on Saturday, December 11 between 7:25pm 8:50pm.
  • New World Te Puke on Monday 13 December from 10:10 am 11:25 am
  • TAB Mt Maunganui on Saturday 11 December from 1:00 pm 2:45 pm
  • Countdown Tauranga on Saturday 11 December from 4:45 pm 7:30 pm
  • The Warehouse Tauranga on Saturday 11 December from 10:45 am 1:30 pm
  • Life Pharmacy Bayfair on Saturday 11 December from 3:25 pm 4:00 pm
  • Event Cinemas Tauranga Crossing on Friday 10 December from 5:00 pm 8:30 pm
  • New World Te Puke on Tuesday 14 December from 10:15 am 1:00 pm
  • Smart India Restaurant Te Puke on Tuesday 07 December from 11:30 am 1:00 pm
  • Countdown Te Puke on Monday 13 December from 11:30 am 1:00 pm
  • Super Clearance Te Puke on Wednesday 15 December from 12:15 pm 2:30 pm
  • BP Te Puna on Monday 13 December from 10:30 am 11:45 am
  • Yoku Sushi Downtown on Friday 10 December from 3:45 pm 5:15 pm

Those who visited the above locations are advised to self-monitor for COVID-19 symptoms for 10 days after you were exposed.

If symptoms develop, get a test and stay at home until you get a negative test result.
