Police sharing Christmas spirit

Pāpāmoa Police Constable Adrian Oldham is hoping everyone is able to enjoy the Christmas cheer over the holiday break while staying safe and looking out for each other.

'I wish everybody an awesome Christmas! Police will be busy as usual and even I have to work Christmas night," says Adrian.

"If you're going to be out drinking please make the right decision in not driving. I always maintain that if you have to think about whether you'd be over the limit – don't drive! It's just not worth the risk and an Uber or Taxi is a lot cheaper than a fine.

"Pāpāmoa is a great place to live and so are the people who live here. Keep an eye on your neighbours and if you happen to notice them a little down, maybe share the Christmas spirit by saying hello or getting them over for a piece of Christmas cake."

The constable is looking forward to the coming year.

"It's been a difficult year for everyone, to say the least, so together let's make 2022 a better one!! Merry Christmas from me, our community patrollers, our Neighbourhood Support workers and all of the Pāpāmoa Police," says Constable Adrian Oldham.
