Today is Day two of the Black Caps' first home match as World Test Champions against Bangladesh at the Bay Oval in Mount Maunganui.
New Zealand resumes their first innings on 258/5.
Devon Conway was the star of the show on Day 1 with his second Test century, ably supported by Will Young who racked up another Test fifty before needlessly running himself out.
Bangladesh were tight and disciplined in their bowling effort for the most part, and will be happy with the way they acquitted themselves.
The final XIs are as follows:
NZ: 1-Tom Latham (c), 2-Will Young, 3-Devon Conway, 4-Ross Taylor, 5-Henry Nicholls, 6-Tom Blundell (wk), 7-Rachin Ravindra, 8-Kyle Jamieson, 9-Tim Southee, 10-Neil Wagner, 11-Trent Boult.
Bangladesh: 1-Shadman Islam, 2-Mahmudul Hasan Joy, 3-Najmul Hossain Shanto, 4-Mominul Haque (c), 5-Mushfiqur Rahim, 6-Liton Das (wk), 7-Yasir Ali, 8-Mehidy Hasan Miraz, 9-Taskin Ahmed, 10-Shoriful Islam, 11-Ebadot Hossain.
