UPDATED 8.45pm: State Highway 2 near Pukehina is now clear after a tractor rolled.

Around 7.20pm Police received a report that a tractor had rolled on SH2 near Pukehina, says a police spokesperson.

'Emergency services attended and the road was blocked while one man was attended to,” says the spokesperson.

'Ambulance transported the man to Tauranga Hospital.”

Police and Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency are reporting the road is now clear.

EARLIER: Emergency services are attending a crash on State Highway 2 near Pukehina.

A reader has contacted SunLive and says a crash has blocked SH2 after Pukehina Station Road.

They say fire and ambulance are at the scene and have the road blocked.

Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency says due to a crash near Pukehina Station Road, lanes are blocked.

The agency says to expect delays and pass the scene with care.
