Anyone visiting the Mount Hot Pools on Monday January 10 from 8.30pm – 10pm is deemed to be a close contact of a person who has tested positive for Covid-19.

'Self-isolate, test immediately and on day five after you were exposed at this location of interest,' says a Ministry of Health spokesperson.

'Further isolation and testing requirements will be provided by Public Health.”

There have been further locations of interest for Mount Maunganui also published on the Ministry of Health website on Saturday evening.

Several locations in Mount Maunganui, Tauranga, Rotorua and Turangi linked to the Delta outbreak have been added to the Ministry of Health's locations of interest list earlier on Saturday.

The locations include the Beachside Holiday Park, Dixie Browns, Astrolabe Brew Bar, Hide Bar, Madam Sunset and Pronto Burgers and Cafe, all at Mount Maunganui.

Good Local Pyes Pa and Palmers Bethlehem Tauranga have also been added.

In Rotorua, Cotton On Rotorua Central and McDonald's Rotorua Central are on the list. The Creel Tackle House & Cafe Turangi has also been included.

Anyone visiting these locations of interest is requested to self-monitor for Covid-19 symptoms for ten days after being exposed.
