A power outage in Tauranga South is affecting 887 properties as well as traffic lights along Cameron Road.

PowerCo is reporting the outage which occurred at 1.29pm

A site investigation is underway.

Power to Tauranga South is estimated to be restored by 5.30pm.

Power is still out in Te Puna, following a vehicle striking a power pole on Sunday morning.

There are 311 Te Puna properties affected by the outage. Power is estimated to be restored by 5pm.
