Three youths have been charged following the burglary at two petrol stations on Monday evening.
Police have jointly charged three youths with burglary and unlawfully taking a motor vehicle in relation to burglaries at Te Puke BP in Jellicoe Street, Te Puke, and Gull Paengaroa on Monday night.
The trio are due to re-appear in Tauranga Youth Court on August 22.

These thugs need to be taught a lesson. I don't care how old they are. Many years ago the local police would give them a good wallop , now they can't be touched and just thumb their nose and use coarse language at you. Another word they don't care.

I don't expect for one minute that the parents of these criminals will be required to appear alongside to answer for their little angels. Youth Court = Wet Bus Tickets is the norm I believe.
