11AM UPDATE: Emergency services are at the scene of a crash in Welcome Bay.
Police received a report of a crash involving a car and ute on Welcome Bay Road around 10.40am, says a police spokesperson.
"One person is reported to have moderate injuries and has been transported to hospital," says a police spokesperson.
Police say there are no reports of traffic blockages at this stage.
A SunLive reader reports that many emergency services were travelling to the scene.
"There have been heaps of sirens on vehicles heading into Welcome Bay, including an ambulance and a plain-clothes police car."

Reports are coming in of a crash in Welcome Bay.
A caller to the 0800 SUNLIVE news hotline says a car and truck have crashed on Welcome Bay Road, near Reid Road.
"People should expect delays in the area."
According to Google's Live Traffic reporting, traffic is delayed on Welcome Bay Road, between Reid Road and Rocky Cutting Road.
