State Highway 29 is closed this morning due to multiple slips.

A Tauranga City Council spokesperson says SH29 between SH28 and Ruahihi Rd is closed.

"Avoid this route or delay your journey if possible. No detour available.

"Avoid the area or delay your journey if possible."

SH30 is also closed due to multiple slips, says Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency.

"SH30 is closed between SH33 and SH34. Avoid this area and delay your journey if possible."
