An Otumoetai College staff member has been taken to hospital following a disorder at the school.

A police spokesperson says they responded to a report of disorder at a school on Windsor Road at about 1pm on Monday.

'One person was treated by ambulance staff at the scene.

'Police are liaising with those involved.”

In a post on its Facebook page, Otumoetai College says there had been a medical event involving a staff member.

'To alleviate any parental concerns, please know that all students are safe,” the post reads.
