It is with much sorrow that we advise that Michael passed away peacefully on the 30 July 2023. Aged 71 years old.

He will be remembered as a beloved Husband by his wife Shirley. Dearly loved Father and father in law of Carl and Fleur, Diane and Sam, Grant and Anika. Loving Poppa of Sophie, Lucy, Reece and Greer. Treasured Brother of John, Bruce, Laurie, Robin and Annette.

Many family members and friends will miss this amazing man who was loving and generous to so many.

A celebration of Mike’s life will be held at the Papamoa Surf Club, 561 Papamoa Beach Road on Saturday the 5th of August at 2.00pm.

In lieu of flowers we would ask that donations be made to the Waipuna Hospice who helped us immensely with Mike’s care.
