It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Catherine Frances Sanders nee Wills, aged 86, in Te Puke. Catherine was a cherished wife, and a devoted mother. Her journey in this world has come to a close, but her spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
Catherine's enduring love and unwavering devotion were evident in her role as the beloved wife of Bob Sanders for an incredible 60 years. Their bond was a testament to the power of love and commitment, serving as an inspiration to all who were fortunate to witness their union.
As a mother, Catherine's nurturing embrace extended to her children, Sheryl, Peter, and David. Her guidance, support, and endless love shaped their lives and formed the foundation of a strong and loving family.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the dedicated caregivers at Glynavon House for their compassionate care and unwavering support during Catherine's time of need.
In accordance with Catherine's wishes, a private cremation has taken place, followed by a private ceremony in Tauranga. 
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that any donations be made in Catherine's name to a charity of your choice.
