Passed away peacefully at his home in Tauranga on August 4th 2023. Jak was in his 64th year, son of the late William (Bill) and Marie Slaven. Jak was a loving father to Kieran and Jospeh. A brother to Virginia, Gerard, Mark, Jane, Hugh, Paul, Bernard (deceased) and Simon (deceased). Jak was a Grandfather and Uncle to many Nieces and Nephews. Jak appreciated the support he was given by his good friend Sefulu. Jaks family would like to give special mention to his support team who worked to assist Jak to live his best life. Jak was an inspiration to all who shared in his life. A celebration of Jaks life will be held in his garden on Saturday 12th August at 2pm. Jak has requested all guests to dress brightly in colour to share joy in the celebration of his life. On Jaks request there will be a donation box placed at the service with proceeds being gifted to the Motor Neuron Association to fund ongoing research.  All communication via txt 02102719111
