Police are appealing for any information that will help them find a missing Tauranga woman.

Jude Coxhead  was last seen by family on August 12 when she left an address in Tauranga, she was reported missing to police the following day.

The 62-year-old is described as having blonde hair and of slim build.

"Jude’s vehicle was found in the Wairere Falls carpark near Matamata on Monday. The vehicle is a gold coloured Nissan Tiida with the registration FLM444," says a police spokesperson.

"Police urgently ask that the couple pictured in the second, above, image get in contact.

"Police would also like to speak to anyone who has been in or around the Wairere Falls carpark between the hours of 6.00am and 5:30pm on August 13.

"Of note, a blue jacket has been placed on Jude’s vehicle at 5:22pm on August 13. Police are trying to establish where that jacket was originally located."
