P36928 Major and QM (rtd), RNZAOC, (Roy). On 19 August 2023, at The Avenues Tauranga, Roy passed away peacefully aged 94 years. Greatly cherished husband of the late Margaret, loving father of Susan and David, Ian and Sally, Anna, Janice and Edward; admired Popa to Michael, Brendan and Genevieve, Anna, Natalie and Jeremy; Roy and Bronte; Flora; Sinead and Charlie, Caitlin and Michael, and Emily. Loved by his great-grandchildren Arden, Arthur, Sienna, Zara and Heidi. In lieu of flowers, donations preferred to Hato Hone St John Ambulance. A service of celebration for Roy’s life, will be held at Legacy Tauranga, 383 Pyes Pa Road Tauranga, on Saturday 26 August at 2pm, followed by private cremation.
